Alyssa has a strong passion for walking in stride with her clients and teaching them the tools they need to not only overcome their struggles, but to guide them in the discovery of their own strength and potential to find happiness and overall health.

Alyssa's experience has been led by her passion of providing therapy to individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health concerns including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, PTSD, cPTSD, stress-related issues, attachment-related concerns, life adjustment issues, and family/relationship issues. Alexis Haneca

Alexis Haneca

MSW, LGSW

Alexis Haneca is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) licensed by the MN Board of Social Work. She is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling seen, heard and genuinely supported. She approaches therapy with curiosity, empathy and respect while creating a space where clients can slow down, gain perspective, and explore what they need to move forward.

Alexis works with individuals across different stages of life and understands that everyone enters therapy with their own story, strengths, challenges and goals. She strives to build a trusting therapeutic relationship and takes time to understand each client as a whole person rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or presenting concern. Alexis has a special interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress and grief. Alexis’ client population specialty is school-aged children, pre-teens, caregivers and older adults. Alexis uses an approach that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused approaches, Strengths-Based approaches, Mindfulness-Based interventions, Humanistic/Person-Centered approaches and Trauma-Focused Therapy techniques.

Rowan, the office dog

Rowan

Office Dog

This is Rowan, the office dog. Alyssa rescued him in the summer of 2025 when he was about 4 months old, and he has become a close companion to Alyssa and some of her clients. Since he is a rescue, we assume he is a mix of Shih Tzu and Chihuahua. But what we do know is that we love him. He is energetic, loves to play fetch, belly rubs, and of course, cuddle.

Rowan is not trained as a therapy dog yet but is a good office dog. Clients have the choice of having Rowan in session, and therapists will always respect the client's choice.
